I ordered burgers and chips from the Stevenage branch and today. To begin, there was no clear place to collect from as it just seemed like a back entrance to the kitchen. The kitchen was dirty and messy from what I could see, but oh well. I got the food, and the fries had no salt on whatsoever and were soggy, not crispy at all. I could deal with this, I've had worse. But the burgers... the bun wasn't toasted and it was so incredibly dry, it just fell apart. My burger was meant to have the 'smoky boys sauce' but it was just mayonnaise by the look and taste of it. To finish it off, the lettuce was dark green and slimy, which we all know means it's expired!Incredibly disappointed, I did not enjoy my food whatsoever.

The food was totally out of the world. It’s a food heaven for the real foodies. We ordered in a group of people and I had the smokey beast. It was humongous!!!! The taste was awesome. Quantity was great. Even though we ate up to our throats but couldn’t resist the chips. They were evenly fried with golden crust but not oily at all. Kids really liked the sweet potato fries. All the fries were light & tasty. Even though it is almost miles away from where we live but will definitely go there again and that’s simply worth it. Icing on the top, the price is really reasonable. Hopefully they’ll open one of their branches in Berkshire soon.

This review is for the Stevenage Smoky Boys.Ordered // online. Easy to order & delivery estimate was minutes, which for a Friday night isn’t bad but the order rocked up well ahead of that timescale which was great.Had the smoky beast, blue cheeseburger & lemon chicken plus skin on & sweet potato fries. Have to say you could tell the food was cooked fresh as it had a nice flavour, it looked good, it was piping hot & not too greasy. The chicken wasn’t dry & was properly cooked. The chips were great, the sweet potato ones in particular were much better than many eat in places serve up & they were still crispy when eaten, not all soggy & cold.Overall, based on our experience, I’d recommend trying this place but I guess like anywhere, on any given night, you might get a bad order. If they can keep this level of service & quality of food up, they can survive but the cost will be an issue for some. stars because we were impressed for a first order with customer service & quality of food. Can they maintain that & will they offer some customer loyalty vouchers or special offers.

Hour and a half waiting time for delivery,Order arrived and they had sent portions of chips, not one mash one chips. I phoned to ask why, they said they didnt have mash, where was the courtesy call to explain that, when we are made to leave our phone numbers in case of any issues.Food arrived and it was luke warm and the chips had gone soggy being left for so long.Absolutely disgusted in the service I received considering this was ordered straight from their website
